Rights of Climate Displaced People held in Shariatpur District.

YPSA and Shariatpur Development society (SDS) jointly organized an advocacy meeting with the NGOs and Civil Society group working for Climate Displaced People at SDS training hall on 1st Decmber’12 supported by Displacement Solutions.

Md. Masur Alam, Deputy Director of Agriculture Department of Shariatpur was present as chief guest and Md.Abdul Khalek, Executive Engineer of BWDB, Advocate Mirza Md. Hazrat Ali, Public prosecutor were also present in the meeting while by Advocate Rowhson ara begum, Convener of Civil Society forum chaired the event.

Abul hossain (Dist. Correspondent of RTV), Md. Asmat Ali Khan ( President of Nagoric Committee), Satyajit Ghosh (Reporter of Daily Prothom alo), Md. Billal Hossain(General Secretary ,District Anti Corruption Committee),  Nasima Khatun (Executive Director of  NBK), Advocate Jahirul Islam, Joydev Chandra Kunda , SM.Mozibur Rahman (Dist.Correspondent of Channel-I),Ashan ullah Ismaily(Secretary SANAK-Sariatper), (Assistant director of NUSA), Mahabubur Rahman (Executive director of SDO), Romena Afroza (Lacturer of Shariatpur College), Md. Asaduzzaman Shahin (Prject Director of Social Aid in Bangladesh), BM Kamrul Hasan Badol (Sector Chief of SDS) also participated in this event.
